Day 20: Missed out on a WOD called Hammer...
Oh, the joys of being sick.. Damn viral bug/cold/'man cold' or what it is that I recently acquired. I don't know who I got it from, but they can certainly have it back. Missed two days of work so far, and above all; I missed doing a WOD called the Hammer on Monday.
My workout partner shared with me what the Hammer was, and what I missed.
Skill:
Overhead Squat
WOD - Hammer
Five Rounds of:
- 5 Power Cleans (135 lbs /95 lbs)
- 10 Front squats (same weight)
- 5 Jerks (same weight)
- 20 Pull-ups
*Rest 90 seconds in between each round and listen to your bodies as there is a risk of rhabdomyolsis with hard core workout like this.
Leanne told me that we have never every done a WOD that take up to 30 minutes. Most people were finishing their WODs between 19 to 32 minutes. Yikes!! Now did I really missed out? Hell yeah, I would love to tried it!
Looking forward to overcome this bug and returning to Crossfit!
