My summary based on the above programming

The price of Overuse; Lifter's Elbow
Getting it looked at @ Optimize Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic

Thoughts:

Olympic lifting; initially calculated the values of the weight based on my 1 RM Power Snatch which was 135 lb.   However, as the class started; Coach wanted it based on my 1 RM for the Squat Snatch; which was 160 lb.   Well that changes everything and it's gets a bit harder.   Always striving to work on building up strength.  This will definitely do it, unless it kills me.

As for the Clean and Jerk; it was as per programming.   However, I had started to feel some strain and pain around my elbow when pulling the barbell with heavier weights.    It was the usual pain I get as in soreness but definitely something I will need to book an appointment with Physio.

All of this, I just attributed to the volume of workouts that we did in CF | 24, and perhaps not taking enough time off.  (One always think they are more bullet proof than they really are)

I figure for the most part, a few days away from training would allow everything to return.   However...   upon seeing initially Arri...  it turns out I have a case of Lifter's elbow.  :(

Repetitive motion, along with some straining along my arm (from pulling too hard on the barbell for Cleans and Jerks) and other pulling movement.

I'll skip the other details and get to the point.  I will have to make modifications on my WODs and as well as my Olympic lifting.   NOOOO!!!
Initially Arri had said to drop my weight down to a maximum weight at 50% of my 1 RM and then will assess it the next week.    Ugh...    so when the weight is suppose to be 50%, you take another 50% off that and then calculate up.  This is more applicable when you are doing drills and the percentage of each is based of the 1 RM.

After the initial disappointment, it is what it is.  Do what physio say and advise the coach accordingly.  Sadly, this kind of injury is not something that can be resolved in a few physio sessions.   Estimated time to back to 100% is about 6 weeks.
