Open Workout 15.3 Variations (Scaled, Masters, etc)

Crossfit Open 2015 (15.3):   

Wall Balls and Skipping.    The Rx calls for Double Under (DU), while the scaled allowed for singles.  I was quite relieved with the thought of doing singles.  I still haven't mastered the DU, and no doubt that I would probably spend the bulk of the 14 minutes on attempts.

However, after doing 50 Wall Balls; my ability to string the 200 singles was not as easy as one would think.  Again, more fatigue had set in on the second round of Wall Balls which directly impacted my ability to skip.   

I still managed to get 2 rounds + 10 Wall Balls in before the 14 minutes.  I think one of the saving grace and a nice goal to be set was that Praveen (one of the members in our group who had announced his results after performing it the night the WOD was announced) results was posted to our group chat.  I think this had set the tone for the group to equal or beat it. 

As it got closer to end, I found myself redline-ing it just to overcome his results.  Thanks Praveen, you might not had know how much your results meant to me.    :)
