Still 10 reps after a year, no Pull-Ups 15.2

It was one of those weeks; was away due to family emergency.   I reached out to the coaches at Rock Jungle on Facebook to see if anyone could judge me on Monday.

Luckily for me, Myron was testing another individual, Teresa P (watch out for her next year; she'll easily make it to the Regionals).  He asked me to drop in after 11:00 AM at the downtown location.

I warmed up as I normally do and at the same time, watch Teresa crushed 15.2.  

As for me, I was only able to do 10 Overhead Squat @ 95 lbs; essentially the same results as I got last year.    Pull-ups; nope... came close.. but I need a lot of work on this.    I opted to do Rx on this as I knew that 95 lbs Overhead Squat wasn't going to be the problem.  The issue would be the Pull-Ups.
Strict or anything for that matter, I haven't been able to do.  

Even if I did the scaled version, which would had only been 6 reps.  I still would had the problem with Pull-ups..  Thus, I opted to get 4 more reps than my fellow crossfitters who opted for the scaled version.

Obviously, Pull-Ups will be on my priority list for 2015.  This will be the year that I will finally get a strict pull-ups.  No assist, no machines..  thats my goal!
