April 9, 2018:
Making some minor adjustment with training schedule.  Going to change it up this week and switch some days around to see if this will help.   The hard part about change, is finding the right sequence.  Meaning, toggling between Olympic lifting, crossfit class, gymnastics.  Unfortunately, there is never enough time in the week to do everything and still be able to recover.  I feel like I'm in the zone now, but there are too many options!

I had the opportunity to lead part of the class thru the warm-up with the wooden dowel and the actual barbell warm-up.  Reasoning, was that our class grew to 13 members in attendance and because there were limited room; the class was split by a wall.  Coach AJ was running between sides; but the group that I was with; egged me on to lead the group.   Off I went; the warm-up with the wooden dowel is always the same as it was the first day for me, and the barbell warm-up has been the same for the past few weeks.   I had some great students.. :)

Focus today was working on hip movement with the High Hang, Above Knee and Below the knee snatch.  And it was about getting it consistent with good form, weight is not the focus.

Next was the Clean and Push Jerk; building up to optional 85% of 1 RM.  Heavier set of weight this week as we are building up to Max weight testing.  It will be interesting as I'm currently dividing my attention between Crossfit Armoury and Evolve Strength (Olympic Power and Fitness club).

I currently using up the balance of my karma credit (free box membership) for this month, and next month.

It was good to hit my 85% and then dropping it down to 70% for 3 sets of 3 reps.  Good push!

And as usual, stayed back after class to do some more 70 lb Kettlebell farmer carries.  This time, really focusing on keeping my body upright.  I will switch to some barbell on shoulder while on the GHD machine, good mornings and maybe even some db/kb bent over rows in the future as suggested by coach AJ.   All this on a day when I'm focus on accessories.
