Thoughts:
It always bites me, and you would think I would learn/figure out how to do Double unders. This Asian doesn't have rhythm and my legs doesn't like to jump high enough, long enough to string more than 1 double under at a time. Probably why I like lifting, stable platform (think tree trunk planted to the ground). Anyways, since Rx'd calls for double unders; I had to do this workout as Scale.
The second thing that bites me is the lack of/ability to do chin over bar pull-ups. I can string one or two in a row with strict pull-ups if my arms and shoulder are fresh. After some other load, no so much. I was able to get one chin over bar pull-up and then spent the next 8 plus minutes trying to get another one.
Another disappointment moment in myself; should had stuck to doing a few more gymnastic classes. Sometimes, I wonder if I should change the direction of my training. Other times, I ask myself why did I do the Open? If anything, this will either propell me back to doing more crossfit, or have me switch over to dedicating my time with just Olympic lifting.
I always find that Crossfit will always find your weakness, if you didn't already know. It will always showcases the areas you are weak in. You always have a choice of improving yourself or be happy with your weakness.
