Thoughts:

Well, I guess part of all the running I've been doing in the past was to get ready for this race. And the other effect was to bring up my cardio.  I knew my cardio is getting better, even though out of our group of runners; I was the last one to come in.

Still for me, this is a win in the sense that it was the best that I could do.  Perhaps, I could had trained a bit harder, more often with running.  Or I could had join the running program, that Crossfit Armoury had.   I opted out, as  I knew that I would be overcommitted if I did that.  So, I'll just have to take it for what it's worth.

There's still time to improve on running.  I will have to fit this in with my activities/workouts.   And since my dedicated olympic lifting training hasn't officially started..    <hmmm....>

Although, the next two month will be interesting as I start to shift to a more olympic lifting focus.  I'll have to figure out the balance between that, Crossfit Running, and of course; Recovery!

So what's the drive for more running?  It's very simple!  Sun's out and it's almost summer.  I want to be outside and train, and not be stuck inside unless I have to.  Olympic lifting will have me inside for the bulk of the time.

The other reason is to be surround by positive people, a lot of which the sunshine bring outs more of that positive mood/outlook!

Until next time....
