Thoughts:

It's been over a month (last time I saw and did olympic lifting with Coach Kevin Zimmerman was the first week of April) when I had a good three days of being coach by him.

My work and life schedule has been just that.  Crazy as fuck, and for those who read my blog knows how much I've gone into my fitness.  But there is always a cost..  Dedicated time to olympic lifting.

Since my schedule is just this hectic; and with some upcoming work projects that will surely be taking away "some" of my free time; I need to find a better way to train with Coach Kevin.

I had a chance to see Coach Kevin at the OPF Club AGM and he did mentioned that we could do remote training.

So here I am, seeing my coach one last time in person before starting the remote training.  It's been a while and we did about 2 hours and 40 minutes of work on some of my movements.   Yup, I had forgotten some of the cues that he had taught me.  Falling back into some bad habits again.

It was good to work on some dedicated Power Cleans, Power Snatches, Clean Pulls, Snatch Pulls.

I'll be working thru his programming, as I asked for 3 times a week for now.   He wants me to video my initial weight and movement and then my final set with the heavies weight of that movement.

I'll be sharing that with him, and he'll be providing me the needed feedback.

This will definitely save me the time to drive to his location (40 minutes there and 40 minutes back).

I'll keep everyone posted as I move along with this.

Thanks,

Tony

Practice, practice with consistency, practice with intention.
